    Ryanair Announces $200m Investment in London Luton with 2 New Based Aircraft
    6 New Winter Summer Routes (21 Routes In Total) From November 2018

    Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (23 Aug) announced an investment of $200 million at London Luton airport with 2 new based aircraft (6 aircraft in total) for its winter 2018 schedule and added 6 new routes to Alicante, Athens, Barcelona, Bologna, Cork and Malaga and more flights on its existing Vilnius route. Ryanair’s winter 2018 London Luton schedule will now deliver a total of 21 routes which will help deliver 2.2m customers p.a.

    These additional Ryanair aircraft will deliver:

    6 based aircraft
    21 routes
    6 new W18 routes to: Alicante (3 wkly), Athens (3 wkly), Barcelona (daily), Bologna (daily), Cork (6 wkly) & Malaga (6 wkly)

    More flights to Vilnius
    Over 100 weekly flights
    2m customers p.a.
    1,650* “on-site” jobs p.a.

    London Luton consumers and visitors can book their holidays as far out as March 2019, on even lower fares, and enjoy Ryanair’s 2018 “Always Getting Better” improvements including:

    Price Promise – find a cheaper fare and we’ll refund the difference + €5 to your My Ryanair account
    Punctuality Promise – we aim to deliver 90% of flights on time
    Lower checked-in bag fees (€25), bigger bag allowance (20kg)

    At London Luton Airport, Ryanair’s David O’Brien said:

    “Ryanair is pleased to announce 2 more aircraft at Luton (6 aircraft in total) for our winter 2018/19 schedule. We will deliver 6 exciting new routes to Spain, Greece, Italy and Ireland and have added more flights to Vilnius, as we increase our schedule to 107 weekly flights, carrying 2.2m annual customers to/from London Luton.

    To celebrate these new routes, we are releasing seats for sale on these new routes from just £14.99, which are available for booking from today until midnight Monday (27th August) for travel from September to January. Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto and avoid missing out.”
